Quality Care, Affordable Price.
We are here for your furry & fuzzy companions
We’re here to help your family gain access to quality care at an affordable price. We don’t want finances to keep your pet from receiving high-quality surgery and dental care. We are a part-time clinic. We have top of the line equipment and supplies to perform surgery and dentistry services. We are able to offer lower prices than many hospitals by minimizing overhead costs.
We accept Care Credit, Scratch Pay, and the All Pet Card. We will pass on to the user the additional fees they charge us—in many cases that is up to 20% of the cost.

Michigan Pet Surgery and Dentistry Clinic was created to offer urgent/common surgery options for owners at a cost below many veterinary practices. We are not a full service veterinary hospital, and we are not here to diagnose your animal. We are here to do surgery/dentistry procedures on an out-patient basis once your pet has been diagnosed.
We offer self-scheduling for several surgeries: pyometras, cystotomies, tail amputations, the “unblocking” of male cats unable to urinate, and enucleations. You can schedule those online here: Schedule Online Appointment
We approve appointments no later than 8:30am. All other procedures need to be requested online by filling out this form: https://michiganpetsurgery.com/contact/ . We typically can only do dog surgeries on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Contact us for additional availability for urgent situations. Additional days are available for cat procedures.
Who is not a good candidate for our services? Animals who have respiratory or cardiac problems, trauma, significant blood loss, trauma, seizures, clotting or platelet deficiencies, or are too unstable to move. We also do not offer orthopedic services.
Our pricing includes everything your pet needs for the surgery. We want owners to know exactly what their costs will be. The procedure fee includes: pre-op bloodwork (as needed), IV catheter and fluids, take-home pain medication/antibiotics, etc. The only additional charge you could incur is if you want to send in biopsies after mass removal(s). The biopsy cost is $160 per mass.
After surgery you will be referred back to your veterinarian/ER for all post-op follow up and continuing care.
How it works/What to expect
For routine, scheduled procedures, morning drop-off is 7:30-9:30am. Pickup is typically 4:30-5:30pm.
Payment methods we accept are: Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept Care Credit, Scratch Pay, and the All Pet card with a 10% surcharge to cover their fees. We do not accept checks.
All appointments have a $25 non-refundable deposit, which will be applied to your balance on the day of surgery, or forfeited if the appointment isn’t kept.
We look forward to helping you take excellent care of your pets!
